Question: Peter, in your forthcoming eBook, "Armor of Light: A Trilogy Story," one of your locations for the narrative is the 'Sagrada Familia Basilica' in Barcelona, Spain. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage site recognized for its creativity in architecture. Why did you choose this setting?
"I was blessed to visit the Sagrada Familia Basilica and it resonated deeply with me. From a distance, it looks like a sand castle. I climbed the whimsical bell towers (see pics below) which offer staggering views of the city. Antoni Gaudi, the architect, defied the odds as a testament of faith in its unconventional and truly 'revolutionary' design. Construction began in 1882 (over 142 years ago) and is now expected to be completed in 2026! Thankfully, momentum in the final completion phase has been propelled by the millions of paying tourists who now visit this world famous iconic Roman Catholic Church (Minor Basilica)."
Question: When you think of Spain, which Spanish mystics come to mind?
"Saint John of the Cross and Saint Teresa of Avila. They were born in the same era and were close friends. Saint John of the Cross was one of Spain's most beloved poets while Saint Teresa of Avila wrote a spiritual classic, 'The Interior Castle.' They both were Carmelites and both declared 'Doctors' (Teachers) of the Catholic Church."

Question: Do you recommend St.Teresa of Avila's book, 'The Interior Castle'?
"Yes, one of the most beautiful mystical books I've been blessed to read. She captures perfectly (through the Holy Spirit) the 'transformed soul' moving closer to God using a metaphor of a castle's inner rooms. It is a must read and a page-turner for all who seek spiritual revelation."
