Question: Peter, the above image is from Dante Alighieri's, 'Divine Comedy,'depicting the realm of the heavenly angels. What is it about the realm of the angels that so captivates us?
"To know that ultimately we have "Divine Protection,' comforts us. Even from our birth, we have been assigned a guardian angel. 'Our human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession (see Angels in Christianity).' The beautiful image below is of the mosaic ceiling above the Saint John Baptistry in Florence, Italy. Dante Alighieri was baptized there and later in life it was reported he saved the life of a child who nearly drowned. Calling all angels!"
Question: Is Jesus Christ, the King of the Angels?
"In Roman Catholic teaching, 'Christ is the center of the angelic world . . .they are His angels; belonging to Him as they were created through and for Him.' (CCC, pp 328)"
Question: Several archangels appear in your eBook, "Armor of Light: A Trilogy Story." Were you intimidated to write about them in a fictional adventure fantasy story?
"I discerned through prayer and received positive consolations of grace. I felt especially close to archangel Raphael. Some of the dialogue in the book is quite tender, yet strong. Below an image of the archangels, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel."
